Ons het ‘n wonderlike en unieke ervaring beleef in die gerestoureerde ramstal. Ongewoon en i cut above the average.
Dit was i estetiese ervaring wat al ons sinne bevredig het. D eerlike gebruik v materiale en d kombinasie van skaapboerderyelemente met moderne pragtige geriewe was iets om te beleef.
Die afsondering en stilte vd Karoo met d mooi landskap onvergeetlik. Ons het ons verlustig in kleur, lyn, tekstuur en vorm…. die sober dekor, besondere beligting en veral d egte en taktiele kwaliteite van wol, klip, hout sement, sink ens.
Geen populere versierings en ornamente nie net die skoonheid van eenvoud en minimalisme.
Al die toerusting en bybehore is luuks en duursaam
Al die kleure en ontwerpe is mooi en soveel kreatiwiteit en oorspronklikheid is net i fees.
Die bruiksgoed is prakties en rojaal uitgesit vir maksimum genot en gerief.
Ons het heerlik gebraai en gekuier.
Die gasheer en vrou was besonder vriendelik en behulpsaam.
Hierdie oornagervaring sal nie maklik oortref word nie.

Our first visit to The Ram Shed on Rusoord, a multigenerational family owned working farm in the Greater Karoo, was an experience never to be forgotten.
The sensitively restored off-grid shed is surrounded by expansive views, wide open spaces and absolute silence.
Long walks through the veld, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Karoo, fresh air and big skies, gave us space to explore and at the same time rest and experience a sense of solitude.
Freshly baked farmstyle bread, a gift from our hostess on arrival was just one part of the wonderful hospitality we received on the farm. Cosy fires at night in the beautifully decorated and fully equipped shed, luxurious linen and attention to detail made for a stay to remember that we can recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience in this very special place.
