Op ons reis oppad terug laeveld toe het ons die geleentheid gehad om op hierdie fantastiese gasteplaas te oornag!
Ons het genoeg tyd gehad om middelburg, en die plaas te geniet want dis n klipgooi uit die dorp maar steeds eg plaas.
Die eenhede is pragtig oorgedoen met n oog op die fyner detail, en ek kon vir ure myself bewonder aan die prag plaas dekor.
Ons kon n karoo tjoppie braai vir oulaas terwyl die kinders lafenis in die plaasdam gekry het.
Ek en my man, Gerhard, het die voorreg gehad om in Des 2023 vir n naweek in die Rusoord gastehuisies oor te bly.
Die huisies is baie keurig binne, met alles wat jou hart begeer! Heerlike linne en handdoeke, en als baie skoon en netjies.
Marlize, ons gasvrou, was altyd byderhand en gewillig om aan enige ekstra behoeftes aandag te gee.
Ons is ook fietsyers en kon heerlik die Karoo verken op ons bergfietse.
Wat n wonderlike voorreg om die Karoo op so n luukse en rustige manier te beleef!
